Insight Productions, the production company behind The Amazing Race Canada, Battle of the Blades and Big Brother Canada, has announced a series of internal promotions that see Top Chef Canada showrunner Eric Abboud appointed Senior Vice President.

Announced Tuesday by CEO and Chair John Brunton, the changes additionally bump 20-year Insight veteran Tanya Low to Chief Development Officer and Jessica Brunton (also a 20-year employee) to Chief Production Officer.
On the business side, Alex Kitz and Greg Milo have been elevated to Chief Business Officer and Director of Operations, respectively.

The company says the promotions position Insight Productions for domestic and international growth and increase its capacity for strategic alliances and development projects.

“We’ve been setting the table for aggressive growth over the last few years, and these promotions are part of that larger strategy,” said John Brunton, in a company announcement. “As we look to increase our global footprint, especially in the UK, Europe, and the US, and bring in new business, we’ve enhanced the leadership roles of some key staff members. And we’re focusing substantial resources on our development department and on cultivating partnerships. As a result, Tanya, Jessica, and Alex have never been busier!”
Low and Abboud continue to report directly to Brunton, while Kitz and Jessica Brunton continue to report to Insight COO Rahmiel Rothenberg. Milo continues to report to Mark Lysakowski.
Lysakowski was recently promoted, alongside Erin Brock and Lindsay Cox, to Co-Chief Content Officers.
